Bromsgrove Lib Dems demand answers on bin disruption

Local residents are angry about another week of missed bin collections leading to disruption across the town. So far the council has not been able to confirm when the disruption will end.

Local resident and campaigner Rob Hunter has written to the council asking for answers about when the disruption will end. Rob said 'after years of above inflation council tax rises, residents deserve better from the Conservatives.' It simply isn't good enough to say there may be ongoing disruption lasting several months. Residents need answers.

Fellow Lib Dem campaigner Siobhan Hughes has also been pushing for a resolution to the problems. She added 'the lack of clear communication and planning by the Conservative council has led to residents' annoyance. Having spoken to residents, I understand their concerns'.
