Liberal Democrat County Councillor for Bromsgrove East, Sam Evans, met with members of Bromsgrove Golf Club this week to support their campaign against proposals to build 1,300 houses on the land at Bromsgrove Golf Centre.
Bromsgrove's Liberal Democrats have announced that they will be standing in all seats at the Worcestershire County Council elections on 1st May and have hit the ground running campaigning.
Despite attempts by Conservative run Worcestershire County Council to halt the local elections set to take place on May 1st , the Government have confirmed that the elections will be going ahead as scheduled.
Bromsgrove's Conservative councillors have voted down calls from the Liberal Democrats for the council elections in May to go ahead as planned, whilst Labour councillors abstained on the vote.
Following the leader of Worcestershire County Council asking for the Government to halt the elections due to take place in May this year, Bromsgrove's Liberal Democrats have launched a petition to 'Let Worcestershire Vote!'
