Ensure Our Unparished Areas Aren't Left Behind!
With the news of a new North Worcestershire Council to be set up, and Bromsgrove District Council set to be abolished, Bromsgrove's Lib Dems are campaigning for unparished areas of Bromsgrove such as our town centre, Burcot and Rubery to not be overlooked by a newer authority.
Lib Dem Councillor Sam Evans proposed a motion which was successful in setting up a cross-party working group to consider whether town and parish councils will be appropriate for the unparished areas of the Bromsgrove district.
Now a survey has been launched seeking opinion on parish and town councils and it is really important that we hear residents views.
If you could please take a few minutes of your time to fill in the survey to ensure that the benefits of small parish and town councils are recognised and our unparished areas are not left behind that would be appreciated!
The more responses the survey receives, the greater the likelihood of the council listening and acting upon residents' concerns.
It only takes a few minutes and can be filled in here:
