We have just learned that Malvern Hills District Council has agreed to give £220,00 to Malvern theatre this year to pay for LED lighting, which will reduce costs. How can Malvern Hills do this whilst Bromsgrove cuts its Artrix funding by £60,000?
A brand new group has just reached 250 supporters after just a few weeks on-line. Lib Dems Against Trident aims to bring together like-minded members for discussion and to prepare a policy motion re. the multilateral abolition/reduction of nuclear weapons. This week's resignations of 4 A and E consultants at the Alex. follows years of uncertainty about the future of their department. Save the Alex and Bromsgrove Liberal Democrats have been concerned about the provision of local hospital services for some time and Save the Alex are organising a quiet protest gathering at 9,30 on 25th February outside the Kidderminster Hospital where the Trust is holding its next meeting.
